Mrs. Amaya is a preschool teacher at Pacoima Charter State Preschool. She has been working with children for 17 years. During this time, She has enjoyed helping them with their social, physical, and intellectual growth. She believes it is important to help children build a strong foundation to be successful in life. As an educator, we can never stop learning. At the moment she holds a bachelor’s degree in child development with a specialty in trauma. She also has a site supervisor certificate in early childhood Education. She has three children; Jonathan, Michael and Annabel and a lovely three-year-old granddaughter. Her husband is very supportive and loves to her in the classroom, after school has ended.
Ms. Tilghman is the instructional coach for the Pacoima Charter State Preschool. She has been working in education for nearly 20 years. She was an early education teacher for 15 years, with experience with kindergarten, transitional kindergarten and pre-kindergarten. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in liberal arts and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership. She has also earned her Transitional Kindergarten Certification.
Mrs. Banda is a preschool teacher with Pacoima Charter for 9 years and has been working in education for 27 years with experience in all grade levels from Preschool to High School. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and has been with Pacoima Charter for 16 years. She has two daughters of her own and knows the importance and how essential early education is. She loves working not only with the little ones but within this community of wonderful families.

She also has a Child Development Site Supervisor permit. She loves to spend time with her family and loves puzzles on her spare time. She is an animal lover. She loves to give her best to her students and see them bloom in their development.
