Drop-Off and Pick-Up
The classroom doors and the preschool gate open at 7:55am for dropping off students in the morning. Classroom doors and the preschool gate are closed at 8:05am. Any students being dropped off after 8:05am must go to the preschool office to be checked in.
Dismissal begins at 3:00pm and lasts until 3:30pm, from the child's classroom, unless noted otherwise.
Late Drop-Off
If you are running late, please call the Preschool Office to report the tardy. We will then inform the teacher so she makes sure to order your child their lunch.
Please refrain from frequent tardies. This leads to disruptions to the class and the learning environment. Please refer to the handout from parent orientation for more information. It is located in the Important Documents page.
Early School Pick-Up
If you need to pick up your child early from school, please call the Preschool Office or Pacoima Charter School's main office. We will then inform the teacher the your child is going home. (Please not that your child must be in school for at least 2 hours for attendance to be counted for the day.
Late Pick-Up
If you are running late to pick up your child, please call the Preschool Office. We will then inform the teacher so she can assure your child that someone is on their way. (It can be very traumatizing for our little ones to be the only ones left, so please try to be on time)
